I keep imagining scenarios of “could”ve been”s had they had these two had the chance to live longer. Shisui in my mind would be one who could interact with Itachi with little mind for boundaries (similar to Sasuke when he was little), and Itachi would handle it all with a silence acceptance but unnoticed fondness.
